Step 5: Administering the Final Exam

Conducting a final exam in Open edX requires coordinating with the scheduling office. Typically, the students do not take it at a specific time. Instead, you open the exam for a duration, such as from 09:00-18:00 on the exam day or from Monday morning to Thursday evening.

Please note: You can control access to the final exam using prerequisites. If you do NOT use prerequisites or if you disable them, then you have no easy method to prevent students who did not do the coursework from taking the exam.
